Ginger thokku

Ingredients:
100g - fresh tender ginger
100g - tamarind
2 tsp - salt
1 tsp - mustard seeds
Asafoetida, a little
1 tbsp - urad dal
8-12 - red chilli
Method
1.Wash the ginger, peel and cut into small pieces.
2.Grind it with tamarind, salt and red chilli.
3.Heat oil in a kadai, add mustard seeds, urad dal and asafoetida powder.
4.Add ground paste and cook for 5 mins on a low flame.
Optionally, you can add some grated jaggery.
