Ingredients:
1 cup onions
1 tbsp flour
1 french loaf
2 tbsp butter
1 ltr chicken stock
1 cup grated cheese
Method
- Finely chop onions.
- Heat butter and cook the onions till sift & golden brown.
- Stir in the flour & slowly add the stock.
- Simmer for 30 mins.
- Season with salt & pepper.
- Slice bread, sprinkle with cheese & grill till cheese melts & bread turns crisp.
- Pour hot soup into cups, float the cheesy bread on top.
